We are recruiting for some fantastic opportunities for our Earth and Environment teams across Sweden:
Rock Engineering
Our rock engineering team works closely and integrated with urban planners, environmental investigators, and designers. We operate in all stages of a project, from early planning studies to the construction phase, as well as the operation and maintenance of existing facilities. This contributes to continuity and cross-sector collaborations, which are crucial for success in large and complex projects.

Geotechnical Engineering
We work with and provide comprehensive geotechnical consulting services to address various geo-related challenges, ensuring stability, safety, and efficiency in construction projects. In our day-to-day work we do geotechnical investigations and studies, soil mechanics analyses, landslide risk and slope stability analyses, foundation recommendations, design of geostructures and much more.
Geotechnical & Ground Engineering – Masters or Bachelors Degree backgrounds considered: Civil & Geotechnical Engineering, MSc Soil Mechanics

Hydrogeology
We are a great team spread across the country who are passionate about groundwater issues. Expertise in groundwater modeling, hydraulic testing, and hydrogeology in soil and rock are some of the cornerstones of our service offerings. Our services encompass all aspects of investigation, design, and execution in areas summarized as: Drinking water supply and water protection, Construction and infrastructure, Contaminated water and Natural resources.
Flexibility to travel to site and potentially remote locations as projects dictate is required, for roles in Ground and Water

Contaminated Areas
We carry out environmental technical investigations of contaminated areas including soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, rock, pore air, indoor air and building materials. We have certified samplers as well as specialists and experts with extensive experience in all types of pollution and also specific pollutants, such as chlorinated solvents and PFAS.

Acoustics
We are one of Sweden's largest players in the acoustics industry with broad experience and deep expertise in most acoustic specialist areas, as well as in air quality calculations and analyses. We work with, among other things: occupational noise, building acoustics, noise from wind power, noise in quarry operations, external industrial noise, aircraft noise, air quality, offshore, room acoustics and electroacoustics, gunshot noise, traffic noise, vibrations and risk analyses, unattended measurements and monitored measurements.

Environmental Management - Sustainability & Climate Change
At our subsector Environmental Management, we work with environmental and sustainability issues and support all types of organizations and operations. Our consultants collaborate with various competencies to manage and reduce our clients' environmental impact, contributing to sustainable projects, organizations, and operations, and supporting the green transition. The main areas we work with are Environmental Assessment and EIA, ESG-Sustainable Transition, Sustainability and Climate Impact, and HSEQ.

Our teams are friendly and support each other to develop our skills and grow our network in the business. You will undertake a variety of tasks and will have the opportunity to help grow the existing team. We work collaboratively with colleagues from technical specialists across the wider WSP to provide our clients with the best expertise to deliver a wide range of projects.
RECRUTIMENT PROCESS

The selection process is based on how well candidates’ qualifications and experience match the role requirements. Candidates who pass the initial selection will be invited to complete an online assessment. Selection will then be made based on the results of the test. The next step is a phone interview with a recruiter, where you will have the opportunity to further present yourself and learn more about WSP.
The process typically takes a few weeks, but for early applicants it may take up to 10 weeks in total. We aim to keep you informed throughout the process; however, due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to respond to individual status inquiries.
