Early Career Program 2025

We are looking for graduates for our Property & Buildings teams, who have a flexible approach and an appetite to learn in a leading engineering and professional services firm. We want you to enjoy working in a collaborative environment where you can apply your skills working for a diverse range of clients and projects.

You will join an enthusiastic and supportive team providing you with a fulfilling working experience. We will fully support your development with an appropriate professional body enabling you to progress to chartered status.

We are recruiting for Graduate Engineers throughout Sweden for the following business disciplines:

MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Pumbing) - Join WSP’s integrated MEP team, delivering some of the Sweden’s and Europe’s largest, most complex projects. Our expertise spans all areas of MEP engineering, including electrical power systems, energy analysis, and resilient utility design. Our mechanical engineers focus on HVAC, environmental controls, energy master-planning, and air filtration.

As a graduate, you’ll work on prestigious projects and contribute to net zero carbon strategies.

• MEP – Bachelor or Masters Degree backgrounds considered: Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Sustainability (Energy & Sustainability) or similar

Building Structures - Our Structures team is dedicated to creating safe, sustainable, and innovative building constructions that meet future challenges in both new construction and renovation projects. We work on everything from small-scale projects to large, complex buildings and infrastructure. With us, you can explore our latest projects, get to know our experts, and stay updated with the latest technologies and methods in structural design and engineering. We also work with advanced structural calculations to optimize constructions and reduce climate impact. Through careful analyses and simulations, we can identify the most effective solutions that both save resources and reduce environmental impact.

Building Advisory -

Our Building Advisory team offers comprehensive consulting services to ensure successful construction projects. We combine industry knowledge with innovative solutions to help our clients navigate complex construction processes.

Building Physics - We also offer building physics services that analyze and optimize the energy performance and indoor climate of buildings. Our climate analyses ensure that buildings meet high standards for comfort and energy efficiency.

• Building Physics - Bachelor or Masters Degree backgrounds considered: Energy Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Sustainable Energy or similar.

Information Modelling (BIM) - Our Digital team lead the implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM), information management and visualisation across Property and Buildings. It is where groundbreaking ideas and innovative technologies shape the future of the built environment.

Our digital team are at the forefront of transforming traditional practices into smart, efficient, and sustainable solutions harnessing the power of BIM, and leveraging the latest digital innovations to revolutionise the way we design, construct, and maintain structures.

• Information Modelling (BIM) - Bachelor or Masters Degree backgrounds considered: Structural, Mechanical Engineering or BIM degree. Other constructions degrees may also be considered.
• Location: Gothenburg, Malmö, Uppsala, Gävle

Our recruitment process

You'll receive an email acknowledging receipt of your application shortly after applying. After we have reviewed your application, if we feel your background and skills are suitable, you will be sent through to the second stage in the process which is an online behavioural assessment.

If you are successful after completing the assessment, we will be work hard to match you to the most suitable roles in our business.

Those applicants that complete and pass the initial assessment will progress to the next step which will be a digital interview, where more information about the following process will be provided. This often takes place within a few weeks but it’s good to know that the whole process can last up to 10 weeks in total if you're an early applicant. We aim to keep you informed throughout the process and time that your application is being considered however, due to the volume of applications received, we are not able to respond to individual requests for status updates.
